I grew up in the state of Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa. I graduated with a degree in Journalism with a focus on graphic design and a minor in French in 2014.

Since graduating, I have been working professionally, first as an in-house designer and social media coordinator for Tom Jackson Productions, a performance coaching service out of Nashville, TN who’s alumni include Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendez.

In 2016, I made the move to be an in-house designer for the digital media company Division-D, where I’m currently the Creative Director.

In my time at Division-D I’ve moved from being an entry-level employee to running the creative department and managing four other designers. My day-to-day tasks involve making creatives for clients, creating and managing client-facing materials for brand integrity, and building the company website. As the head of my department, I also mange the workload of the creative team, ensure deadlines are met, and liaise with other departments.

It’s also my job to troubleshoot any problems that arise with on-boarding new vendors, new ad units, or new animations. This need to adapt quickly has made my ability to learn things on the fly and self-teach one of my strongest assets.

I’ve also worked on a few freelance projects including a single cover for a country artist, a convention billboard seen by over 2 million people, logo designs, and flyers.

I have a 5-year-old orange tabby cat named Steve, and I spend my free time biking the Lake Shore Trail and trying as many new restaurants as I can.
